Rotary evaporator operation and maintenance of points (response to User Reference)

Compliance with "operation and maintenance points" can extend equipment life and efficiency.

4, water bath can not be empty burning. To change the water regularly (at least once a month), should not increase the hard water, otherwise the scale will shorten the life of the heating cycle. Such as the oil bath, please use the low-viscosity, high flash point of benzene, methyl silicone oil.
5, such as the use of circulating water pump for supporting the pump to prevent backflow of sewage. Turn off the power before the vacuum pump must be cut off and the rotary evaporator connected to vacuum tube.
6, glass vacuum piston to regular maintenance (leak or rotating difficulties), pull out the piston core maintenance, scrubbed clean and re-coated with vacuum grease (recommended 7501).
7, F4, and voltage-controlled discharge valve shut off valve can not have impurities in the liquid, once the red material to be cleaned.
8, the rotating shaft seal lubrication is maintained focus, routine maintenance once every 1-3 months. If the situation should be the maintenance of the following:
a) rotation occurs when the sound of rubber dry friction;
b) when the vacuum can still be achieved, representing a fall of rotation;
c) no-load (the system solvent), vacuum of less than-0.09MPa. (Excluding vacuum pump must be performance degradation, vacuum hose leak or system interfaces, and other causes of broken glass vacuum down factors);
Press the maintenance manual, pull out the sealing component (fluorine rubber composition of the PTFE), cleaned with ethanol and rotary shaft sealing component (guided air-axis), re-painted in the sealed part of the new friction temperature above 150 ℃ high quality grease, reinstall the seal components, wipe the excess grease.

9, mechanical transmission and lubrication maintenance of a conventional 1-2 years. Working extended warranty period. The following conditions should be timely maintenance, washable oil, adjust the gap:
a) Electric hot (surface temperature rise DT over 45 ℃). Rotating head plate moving by hand, a marked Zhizhong carbazole rolling;
b) abnormal rotation of the sound transmission components;
c) caustic solution into the nose accidental transmission components.
